What comes to mind when you think of a king? It’s likely your mind is filled with images of ornate crowns, majestic robes, and servants bowing to the king’s every need. This is how we’ve come to know and understand so many kings throughout history!
But Jesus is different. Jesus is our King AND our Savior. He took what it means to be a king and completely flipped it on its head. Instead of demanding servitude and ruling with an iron first, Jesus served others and ruled with love. To this day, when we enter a personal relationship with Him, He serves and loves us as well. We designed The Crown of Thorns Collection to remind you of this truth.
Jesus didn’t wear a majestic, noble crown and He wasn’t clothed in flowing robes. He received a Crown of Thorns instead. Jesus’ Crown of Thorns stands as a representation and reminder of His sacrificial, redeeming love for us all. Through the crown of thorns and the sacrifice it symbolizes, Jesus has brought us righteousness and salvation. Hebrews 10:14 says, “For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.”
To enter His eternal Kingdom, all you must do is accept Him into your heart. It’s that simple! He will guide you from there as you walk in a personal relationship with Him. Jesus suffered, died, and rose again to give you this opportunity, so don’t let it pass you by. Let Jesus’ crown of thorns inspire you to assume your identity as a child of God and citizen of His Kingdom which has no end.
